I’m a native English translator working mainly from French and Serbo-Croat (Serbian/Bosnian/Croatian or ‘BCMS’) into English. Over the years, I have lived in Bosnia, Algeria, Scotland, Italy, England, France and the US. I’m currently based in Lille.

I am a graduate of the University of Cambridge (BA, MA), the Institute for Political Studies, Sciences Po Paris (Professional Masters in European Affairs), and the Ecole Normale Supérieure, Paris. Currently, I am studying for a Masters specialising in Conference Interpreting.

My proofreading and translating experience covers a range of fields including academia, European politics, economics and social affairs, environmental policy and corporate communication.

I also have a focus on the arts, enjoy translating poetry, children’s literature and subtitling documentaries. To date, I have subtitled over 100 documentaries for the Franco-German TV channel ARTE.

As a French<>English interpreter, I started working in 2012 with several organisations in the field of immigration in the US (NIJC, Heartland Alliance, Kovler Center). Since moving back to France, alongside my translation work, I do simultaneous and liaison interpreting in community, academic and corporate settings. I am currently available to interpret for events in Lille and the surrounding area, as well as in the Brussels and Paris regions.

De langue maternelle anglaise, je traduis principalement du français vers l’anglais, mais aussi à partir du serbo-croate (serbe/croate/bosniaque ou ‘BCMS’). Je suis basée à Lille, ayant auparavant vécu en Bosnie, Algérie, Écosse, Italie, Angleterre et aux USA.

Je suis diplômée de l’Université de Cambridge (BA, MA Langues Modernes), de Sciences Po, IEP Paris (Master Affaires Européennes), et de l’École Normale Supérieure, Paris. Je poursuis actuellement une formation pour me spécialiser en interprétation de conférence pour les institutions européennes.

Dans le domaine de la relecture et la traduction, mon expérience couvre des domaines assez larges : les questions européennes (politique, économie, sociologie, culture) et internationales, l’environnement et le développement durable, ainsi que les textes académiques et la communication d’entreprise.

Je travaille également dans les domaines de l’art et de la culture, et je m’intéresse à d’autres thèmes de traduction plus libres, en particulier la poésie, la littérature jeunesse, et le sous-titrage. À ce jour, j’ai sous-titré plus de cent documentaires pour la chaîne ARTE.

En tant qu’interprète français<>anglais, j’ai d’abord travaillé pour diverses organisations dans le domaine de l’immigration aux Etats Unis (NIJC, Heartland Alliance, Kovler Center) à partir de 2012. Depuis mon retour en France, parallèlement à mon travail de traduction, je fais de l’interprétation simultanée et de liaison dans des contextes sociaux, universitaires et d’entreprise. Je suis disponible pour des événements dans les Hauts-de-France, ainsi qu’à Bruxelles et dans la région parisienne.
